Correlative Optical Microscopy and AFM: Enhancing Biological Studies
at 10:00 CEST | 16:00 SGT | 17:00 JST and 17:00 CEST | 8:00 AM PDT | 11:00 AM EDT

Join us and special guest speaker Dr. Pieter De Beule from the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL), Braga, Portugal, for this virtual workshop on combining Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) with advanced optical microscopy techniques.

While AFM enables the manipulation of objects on the nanoscale and the characterization of surface properties, nanomechanics and structure, optical measurements reveal bulk details and compositional contrast via fluorescence or immunological labelling. Combining both techniques and correlating their datasets enables novel experiment designs and applications that deliver comprehensive sample analysis and fundamental insights into molecular structure and the function of biological systems.

This webinar will cover topics such as optical image overlay and the integration of multiple optical, external and AFM channels, and will include a LIVE demo on theĀ NanoWizard V BioAFM.

In his talk, Pieter De Beule will give an overview of the integrated hardware configurations available and discuss key limitations and considerations.

The workshop will be held live at two different times:
Session 1: 10:00 CEST | 16:00 SGT | 17:00 JST

Session 2: 17:00 CEST | 8:00 AM PDT | 11:00 AM EDT
